Bulgari Hotel

The Bulgari Hotel London is in Knightsbridge

The Bulgari Hotel was bought by Bernard Arnault the richest man in Europe and the head of LVMH for 2.8 billion and he has added it to his collection which includes Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Moet and Chandon and Veuve Clicquot The Bulgari Hotel is a hotel for the Uber Rich located in Knightsbridge within walking distance of Harrods, it was designed by Antonio Citterio who also designed the Bulgari Hotel Milan and the Bulgari Hotel Bali, it has a granite grey lobby and lots of glossy sapele wood veneer leading to a stainless steel staircase and the restaurant.

All of the headboards and curtains are embossed with a 19th century Bulgari Broach which looks quite nice but repetitive after you've seen it on just about everything you look at, all rooms have a 42 inch plasma TV, a Nespresso coffee machine and free WiFi and for those that like to go shopping you have within a short walk Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Hermès, Prada, and Chanel as well as Harrods and Fortnum and Mason.

The Bar at the Bulgari is very unusual and not what you would expect from one of London's top hotels it's called Il Bar and at the centre is a unique white hammered metal bar in honour of Sotitio Bvlgari, it go's well with the black granite floor and titanium ceiling and gets very busy at all times of the day and evening,

The restaurant Rivea serves top class food as you would expect from this type of hotel, the chefs suggestion menu seems very over the top with lobster linguine at £90 so i would stick with the normal a la carte menu with maybe the courgette and amalfi lemon risotto, followed with a main of lightly seared John Dory, courgettes and girolles and finished off with delizia al limone (little lemon melt in the mouth biscuits) there is also a list of sharing bites for you and your partner to start your meal and just like in a hospital you tick next to the ones you want.

The  Hotel has a unique cinema called the screening room named after Sir Richard Attenborough, it holds 47 people and has 4K resolution and 3D Dolby surround sound, it can be used for private screenings or film premieres, a lot of people stay here for the Bulgari Spa which is one of the most exclusive and largest you'll find in London, the swimming pool is 25 meters and has green and gold mosaic tiles, it has 11 treatment rooms and a double spa suite and steam room.
